Moving our beloved cat from Amsterdam to Sydney was quite a stressful operation that requires a lot of organization and coordination. We were looking for a reliable company that could guide us through this. We ended up having some bad initial experiences with another company we contacted. They gave us incorrect advice and weren’t really listening to our concerns. In short, they were making it even more stressful.
We were very relieved to have found Chantal, who has been taking such great care in walking us through the whole process and giving us a lot of comforts that our cat was in safe hands.
She has a great attention to detail and organizational skills and pro-actively took care of all the planning and arrangements that needed to be done.
This was exactly what we were looking for, someone with all the expertise and knowledge relieving us of all the worries and stress that come with moving our beloved cat.
Now he is in Australia with us and we are extremely happy and our cat is too.

We have just moved our ‘fur children’ from The Netherlands to Australia – Taci the french bulldog and Guido the ragdoll. Just to make a complicated process even more challenging, we had to do this in the middle of a pandemic and with almost every airline deciding that they were no longer willing to fly snub nosed dog breeds ! We now have 2 very happy and healthy pets ‘Down Under’ and this would have been impossible without the support of Chantal and Flying Dutch Pets – from beginning to end we were able to rely on the professional expertise and network of Chantal (don’t underestimate this, Taci had a 3 day ‘mini-break’ in Dubai on the way to Sydney), her patience, resilience, understanding and, above all, her care for the welfare of Taci and Guido. We consider ourselves very lucky to have found Flying Dutch Pets and Chantal’s willingness to go that extra step.

We recently moved to Sri Lanka from Belgium with our fur-baby; Buddy, 3 years old Lab x Shep girl. It was a really complicated process and travelling with your pet to Sri Lanka during the pandemic made it more stressful. But getting know to Chantal was the best part in this process. She is very friendly, attentive and was there for us. She organized everything on time and was very understanding. When we brought Buddy to Amsterdam on the day of the flight, we met her in person and we both felt so relived. It was like meeting a friend.
She sent us photos and a video of Buddy at the Schipol cargo area where she took her for a walk before the flight. And again an update from Doha, where buddy got her comfort stay before her next flight to Colombo.
We must say, transporting your fur-baby to another country, specially outside Europe, another continent during the pandemic is not an easy process. And it is mentally so stressful, as you are worrying about your pet’s comfort and well-being apart from the whole organization process. Having someone like Chantal, in this process is a blessing.

Our praise for Flying Dutch Pets is long overdue. Chantal and Flying Dutch Pets coordinated the travel of our German Shepherd from Amsterdam to Seattle, WA, USA in September 2021. Chantal was professional and every part of the travel was organized and executed efficiently and successfully. The cost was very reasonable. But most importantly, Chantal was kind, responsive and very invested in making sure our pet had a safe, speedy and comfortable travel experience. Cannot say enough wonderful things about Chantal and Flying Dutch Pets! ????????????

I just wanted to write and again say a huge thank you for all your help getting Callie transported from Schipol to Heathrow last week. This whole move has been rather stressful, and the Callie element of it was no exception. It was clear that you were exceptionally busy but you always took the time to reply to me really promptly (I had also been in contact with some other pet freight companies, and that definitely wasn’t the case with them). You were so professional, thoughtful, friendly and committed, I knew Callie was in safe hands and that made leaving her on Friday so much easier. I know these are unprecedented times and you are having to deal with huge workloads and significant delays, but you did it admirably and I am so very grateful. Callie is too!

The team at Flying Dutch Pets are amazing! They were so helpful and put our minds at ease moving our cat from Amsterdam to NZ.
The whole situation was a bit stressful and messy as we were already out of the country but Chantal and team took care of everything and went above and beyond, sending us updates and photos throughout. The organisation and planning was tops. If you’re looking for someone to help relocate your furry friends these are the guys to do it.
